GONER is sitting at a table with a laptop before him. He's scrolling through a website, his fingers dancing around the keyboard. MAX is sitting off to one side, a smoke before him as well as a cup of coffee.
MAX:
Anything at all?
GONER:
Just give me a few more seconds. Let the program do it's job.
MAX:
Time is of the essence here.
GONER:
Isn't that always the case?
MAX:
Yeah. But if we can get to this before the shifts begin again we might be able to correct a path or two.
GONER:
Found it.
GONER's fingers dance over the keyboard. Cut to shot on the computer screen. Goner's reflection in the background.
MAX:
Looks complex.
GONER:
Looks could be deceiving.
MAX chuckles.
GONER:
Got it! Now what?
MAX:
(Max takes out a fortune cookie and cracks it open and hands the paper inside to Goner):
Type this in.
GONER:
(shrugs and does just that.)
You're the boss.
